Qaida Noorania is a free educational Windows app. All 30 lessons and the included recordings are available without an account.
The app stores your optional reader name, lessons visited, reviewed cards, completed lessons, saved lessons, last reading position, and reading preferences locally on your device. You may leave the name blank. The app does not transmit this information to us or to a server.
The lesson pages, fonts, and recorded audio are included with the app. They do not require an internet connection. The app contains no advertising, analytics, tracking tools, or account system.
When you select a video lesson, Patreon support link, or contact link, the app opens your default browser or email application. YouTube, Patreon, and your email provider process information under their own privacy policies. Normal browser requests may share information such as your IP address with the website you visit. The app does not attach your learning progress or reader name to these links.
You may export a JSON backup of your optional reader name, learning progress, and preferences to a location you choose. The app does not upload this file. You control where you store or share it. Importing a backup replaces the learning progress and settings stored in the app after you confirm.
You can remove or change your reader name in Reading settings & help, undo reviewed cards and lesson completion, remove saved lessons, and reset an individual lesson. To erase all locally stored app data for the Microsoft Store edition, use Windows Settings → Apps → Qaida Noorania → Advanced options → Reset. Back up your progress first if you wish to keep it. Exported files remain in the locations you chose until you delete them.
Qaida Noorania supports children and adults learning Quranic reading. We do not receive or collect children's personal information through the app. External websites are optional and are governed by their own policies.
Microsoft handles app installation, distribution, and updates through the Microsoft Store under Microsoft's privacy terms. This policy describes data handled by the Qaida Noorania app.
