Luton’s Muslim community is predominantly Pakistani and Kashmiri, with a large Bangladeshi population and growing numbers of Arab, Somali and Afghan families. Urdu, Punjabi, Pahari and Bengali are spoken at home; teaching is delivered in English with Urdu support available.
Luton weekday slots run 4pm–10pm and weekends 10am–8pm. Because the Muslim wards here sit close together and most children attend maktab within walking distance, the after-school window is heavily used. The most requested slots are 5pm and 6pm, and families whose children are out at maktab until 7pm generally take the weekend package and use it for Tajweed.

Yes, and it is one of the most common things we are asked to do in Luton. We do not start again from the alphabet — we record your child reading a page they know, identify the specific rules being skipped (usually madd, ghunnah and the qalqalah letters), and rebuild from there. Parents often hear a difference within a month.
Regularly. A large number of adults in Luton grew up reading transliteration rather than the Arabic script, or learned surahs by sound without learning the letters. Starting the Noorani Qaida as an adult is completely normal, and adults who take three lessons a week are usually reading short surahs within two to three months.
