Online Quran Classes in Alum Rock, Birmingham

Alum Rock and neighbouring Saltley form one of the most densely Muslim areas in Birmingham, centred on Alum Rock Road. The community is overwhelmingly of Pakistani heritage, much of it Mirpuri, with family networks that reach back to the same villages in Azad Kashmir — a pattern that shapes how the area thinks about Quran education.

In Alum Rock, Quran learning is not treated as an optional extra. It is expected, and the standard families hold teachers to is high. That is a good thing, and it is the standard we set for ourselves.

Birmingham weekday slots run 4pm–10pm and weekends 10am–8pm. In practice most families here want the 4:30pm–6pm window, sitting between the end of the school day and the evening maktab. If your child already attends maktab five days a week, the more sensible arrangement is often two or three of our sessions on the days maktab does not run, so the week is not overloaded.
