Birmingham’s Muslim community is predominantly of Pakistani and Kashmiri heritage, with the largest Mirpuri population in the country, alongside a significant Bangladeshi community, a long-established Yemeni and Somali presence in Sparkbrook, and African and Arab families across the inner city. Teaching is in English with Urdu support available.
Birmingham weekday slots run 4pm–10pm and weekends 10am–8pm. In practice most families here want the 4:30pm–6pm window, sitting between the end of the school day and the evening maktab. If your child already attends maktab five days a week, the more sensible arrangement is often two or three of our sessions on the days maktab does not run, so the week is not overloaded. We will help you plan that.
