Central Bradford is a mix of long-standing Muslim families, students at the university, and a younger professional population living in and around the city centre. The central masjids are well attended and the Muslim presence in the centre is visible and established.

For adults and students in particular, the city centre is where online lessons make the most obvious sense — a 30-minute lesson that fits between lectures or around a shift is far more likely to actually happen every week than a class that requires travelling out to a ward and back.
